On September 3rd, 2022, peacefully, with his family, at Corpus Christi Nursing Home, Mitchelstown, JAMES (JIMMY), (ex Mitchelstown Co-op Shoe Department and Macrumpian Shoes), Ballinamona, Mitchelstown and formerly of Curraghgorm, Mitchelstown.
Beloved husband of Mary (nee Sheehan) and dear father to Marie, Tom, Leish, Eugene (Hugh) and James (Jimmy), son of the late Thomas and Mary and brother of the late Mikey, Eddie, Kitty, Peggy, Anne and Mary. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, Teresa, Anne-Marie, Nadia, Sons in laws, Denis and Pat. grandchildren, Emily, Michael, Hannah, Mary, Anthony, Caitlin, Aaron, Shane, Aoife, Derry, great-grandchild Willow, nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81, on Monday (5th September) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jimmy's funeral cortège will travel from his residence via Brigown Road, Upper Cork Street and Chapel Hill on its way to the Church of Mary Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown on Tuesday (6th September) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery, Mitchelstown.
