James (Jimmy) Whelan

James (Jimmy) Whelan, Santry, Dublin and formerly Grangecon, Co. Wicklow - 17th November 2023 peacefully at The Mater Hospital Dublin surrounded by his loving family; predeceased by his sister-in-law Imelda. Jim will be sadly missed by his sisters Frances and Catherine, brothers Andy and Chris, sister-in-law Patricia, cousin Angela and family, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephew, his many cousins, relatives and friends especially in Dublin and Wicklow including his close friend and neighbour Lisa.

Reposing in Murphys Funeral Home, Raheny (Eircode D05 Y313) on Sunday, 19th November from 3pm to 5pm and in Halligans Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly, Co. Carlow (Eircode R93 C560) on Monday, 20th from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral arriving to St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Grangecon on Tuesday for 12 noon Requiem Mass after which he will be laid to rest in Crookstown Cemetery.
