The death has occurred of
James Joseph Boyle
James Joseph (Jimmy) Boyle (retired Garda Sgt), Carrick Rd, Treanmore, Mohill, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Falcarragh, Co. Donegal, in his 99th year, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Arus Carolan Nursing Home, Mohill, and surrounded by his loving family on the 4th of December 2023.
Predeceased by his loving wife Bella, James will be sadly missed by his loving family, sons Michael (Lucan), James (Ballinamore) and John (Mohill) and daughters Mary (Reno USA) and Isobel (Mohill), sisters-in-law Celine Whelan (Rathfarnham) and Sr. Finnian (Ursuline Convent, Thurles), daughters-in-law Mary, Irene and Lisa, grandchildren, Paul, Adam, James, Peter, Aoibheann, Fiona, Peter, Johnny, Sarah and Harry and great-grandchildren Declan, James, Zara, Aera and Jack, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.
Reposing at his home (N41 KV99) on Thursday the 7th of December from 5pm to 8pm, house private to close family at all other times. Funeral will take place on Friday, the 8th of December in St. Patrick’s Church, Mohill at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in Mohill cemetery.
