James Naughton

Formerly of Newcastle, Galway.

James passed away peacefully on 03 August 2024, after a prolonged illness, in the wonderful care of the staff at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his loving family.

James will be sadly missed by his wife Clare, his sons Derek, Niall and Kenneth and by his sister Marie. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Emily, Sarah, Rebecca, Emmet and Darragh, daughters-in-law Amanda and Karen, the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8), on Thursday, 08 August, from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, 09 August, at the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore on arrival at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass James will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery.
