Jason (Jayo) McGann

Jason passed peacefully from this life on Thursday 19th of August in the wonderful care of the staff of Clarinbridge Care Centre, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

Jason will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his heartbroken parents, Dermot and Tina, his grandmother Margaret, his sister Chloe and brothers Keith and Ian, his aunts and uncles, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Please respect the privacy of the family during this difficult time and remember that attendance at funerals is still limited. Please be mindful of adhering to all HSE, NPHET and Government guidelines at all times.

A private Mass will be celebrated, for the repose of Jason’s soul, with immediate family and friends only, on Monday, 23rd August in St Killian’s Church, New Inn at 12noon.  For those who would like to have attended the Mass, but can’t due to current restrictions, Jason’s Mass will be streamed live on the following link JASON’S FUNERAL Following Mass the funeral will make its way via Carra, to Bullaun Cemetery where Jason will be laid to rest in eternal peace.

Jason’s funeral cortége will leave from his home in Carra at 11:10 making its way via the old traditional route to St. Killian's Church, New Inn. Family, friends and neighbours are invited, if they wish, to stand at their homes or along the route as a mark of support to the family.

Please maintain the respect of social distance for each other and mask wearing, while doing so, as directed by NPHET.

The McGann family would like to thank their family, friends and community for all the love and support they have received for Jason. They wish to appeal to you all to keep yourselves and their family safe, by adhering to all public health guidelines, over the days of Jason's funeral.
