The death has occurred of
Jeremiah (Sonny) O'Connell
O’Connell (Mitchelstown & Dromcollogher) on June 12th 2024, peacefully, with his family and in the wonderful care of all at Marymount, Cork, Jeremiah (Sonny) O’Connell, Limerick Road, Gurrane, Mitchelstown and formerly of Clonmore, Dromcollogher, Co. Limerick.
Beloved husband of Mary (nee Scanlan), loving father of Caitríona, Diarmuid and ĺde, devoted grandad of Emma, Aaron, Hazel, Cillian and Aoife and dear brother of Pat, Tim, Madeleine and Dinah.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, family, sons-in-law Anthony and David, sister-in-law Helen, brothers-in-law Barry and Denis, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Sonny Rest in Peace
Reposing at The Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81 on Sunday (16th June) evening from 5 p.m. to 7pm.
Reception into The Church of Mary Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown on Monday (17th June) morning for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Brigown New Cemetery, Mitchelstown.
Sonny’s funeral Mass will be livestreamed on http://www.mitchelstownparish.
