JEREMY GLENNON

Glennon (Carrigaline and late of Edenderry, Co. Offaly) On January 30th 2024, peacefully in the loving embrace of his cherished family and in the tender care of the Staff of the Intensive Care Unit, Cork University Hospital. Jeremy (Professor of Analytical Chemistry, University College Cork) best friend and loving husband of Linda (Nee Dooley), much adored father of Amy, Jenny and Jack and incredible papa to Ellie, Eve and Maeve. He will be sadly missed by his loving family including his sons-in-law John and Phil and Jack’s partner Sarah, his sisters Phyllis, Deirdre, Anne and Vera, his brothers Seán, Alo, Ollie, Brendan and Eugene, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, the beloved Johnson and Dooley families, friends, colleagues in University College Cork and University College Dublin, his friends in Gilabbey Rovers, Carrigaline Tennis Club and Walking Soccer Team, his wonderful neighbours and friends all over the world.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Fordes Funeral Home, Old Waterpark, Carrigaline on Wednesday (31st) from 5:00pm until 6:00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (1st) at 1:00pm in the Church of Our Lady and St. John ,Carrigaline which may be viewed on link here funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery Ballinrea.
