The death has occurred of
Jim Cullen
CULLEN, Jim, Rathfarnham, and formerly of Taghmon, Co. Wexford: Saturday 17th September 2022, peacefully in his 96th year surrounded by his loving family and in the tender loving care of the staff of Orwell Private Nursing Home, Rathgar, beloved husband and best friend of Eileen for over 60 years and much-loved father of Deirdre (Dee, London) and Ruth (Fermanagh). Pre-deceased by his younger brother and life-long friend Des.
Jim was a true gentleman, a life-time motor enthusiast who participated in numerous Circuit of Ireland rallies in the 1960’s, veteran, vintage & classic car events for more than 50 years, an active club member of the IVVCC and founding member of the Association of Retired Members (ARM) of the IVVCC, an accomplished artist and forever a proud Wexford man.
Jim will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, his sisters Gabrielle Martin (Cairnhill Nursing Home, Bray), Carmel Berry, Duncormick, Co. Wexford, sons-in-law Richard Mechen and Finbarr (Bobby) Daly, and cherished grand-children Ben, Ella and Pierre, his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephew, wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in the Ruah Centre, Ballyroan, (D14 T0C8) on Sunday 18th September from 4'oc-6'oc. Funeral mass on Monday 19th September in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Ballyroan at 10'oc. Jim’s cremation will take place on Tuesday 20th at 9.45'oc in The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.
