Jim Mathews

The death has occurred of Jim Mathews, Togher Road, Salterstown, Co. Louth, peacefully after an illness, in the presence of his loving family, at home, aged 59 years. Jim, beloved husband of Susan (née Byrne) and father of Niamh, Sinead, Jamie, Aidan and Conor. Predeceased by his father Peter and mother Bridget (née Bannon). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, daughters, sons, brothers Michael and Peter, sisters Assumpta Kelledy, Josephine Matthews, Breige Ward and Bernadette Carroll. Greatly missed by his grandchildren Logan, Tess and Lily Mai, his son-in-law Darran, partners of his children Kerly and Katrina and daughter-in-law Grace, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunt-in-law Catherine Bannon, all the extended family, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home (Eircode A92 YW60) on Sunday from 2pm until 8pm. Mask wearing is preferable, please. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to Saint Finnian’s Church, Dillonstown arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in Kilsaran Cemetery.
