Jim O'Brien

Clonbonny, Athlone, Westmeath

Jim O’Brien; Clonbonny, Athlone, Co. Westmeath, November 8th 2022, peacefully after a short illness, in the exceptional care of the staff at Our Lady of Knock Unit in the Galway Clinic, surrounded by his family.   Predeceased by his parents Richard and Mary, sister Shelly (Murray), daughter-in-law Tracy (nee Byrne) and grandson Cameron. Sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Lea and Nicola, son David, son-in-law Tom, daughter-in-law Christina, his adored grandchildren Emma, Lucy, Jennifer and Philip, brother Dick and his wife Zita, sisters Anne and Oonagh, brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

Reposing at Flynn’s Funeral Home, Moate this Thursday, 10th November, from 4.30pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal from his residence on Friday, 11th November, to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Coosan arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon   Burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
