Joan Doyle, (née Monaghan), 12 Eastwood, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on December 16th, 2022. Predeceased by her husband Hughie, son Anthony, her parents John and Margaret Monaghan, her brother Noel and sister Patricia. Deeply regretted by her children Christopher, Caroline, Michael and Madeleine. Joan will be sadly missed by her son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Martha and Ailish, her brothers Paddy, Tony, Sean, Frank and Michael, her sisters Breda, Margaret, Teresa, Helen and Catherine, her cherished grandchildren Darragh, Brian, David, Adam, Ava and Chloe, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cushen’s Funeral Home, Kilcarrig Street, Bagenalstown (Eircode; R21 V127) on Sunday, 18th December from 2pm till 8pm, with prayers at 6.45pm. Removal from Cushen’s Funeral Home on Monday, 19th December, to arrive at St. Andrew’s Church, Bagenalstown for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in The Cemetery of the Assumption, Bagenalstown. Those who would have liked to attend, but who cannot, can view Joan’s Mass live at the following link;
