Joan Farrelly (née Darcy), Shannonbridge, Athlone, Offaly.

Joan died on January 7th 2021, peacefully at Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe. She is predeceased by her sister Una, brother Louis and step-family Maryanne, Kieran, Pat, Jim and Molly.

Joan will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving husband Danny, sons Danny and Louis, daughters Marie (Fox) and Connie (Connolly), grandchildren Karagh, Ciarán, Wayne and Daragh, great-grandchildren James and Daniel, brothers Oliver and Christopher, sister Lottie, sons-in-law Jimmy and Donal, daughters-in-law Mary and Val, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Grant Joan Eternal Rest and Peace

In the interest of Public Health, Joan's funeral will be private. Her family thank you for your support and understanding at this difficult time. Removal on Friday (Jan 8th) to St. Ciarán's Church, Shannonbridge arriving at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday (Jan.9th) at 12 noon (Max 10 people) , may be viewed on https://fb.me/saintciarans. Interment afterwards in Clonmacnois.

Friends and neighbours are welcome to stand along the route while following Social Distancing Rules.
