The death has occurred of Joan Foley, née O’Connor, Rosevale, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Newmarket, Co. Cork, on 6th July, 2021. Peacefully, at her home, aged 87 years. Joan, predeceased by her parents and brothers Bill and Dan. Beloved wife of Porick and loving mum to Shelma, Jannette, Anita and Pádraig. Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, son in law Nick, daughter in law Helen, grandchildren Damien, Sam, Luke, Martha and George, great grandchildren Jake and Finlee, brother Timmy, sister Sheila, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Removal from Townley’s Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10.30am arriving to St. Mary’s Church, James's Street, for Funeral Mass at 11am, which will be streamed live on www.stmarysdrogheda.ie, with burial afterwards to Calvary Cemetery.
In keeping with current Government guidelines, Joan’s Funeral can have up to 50 family and friends in attendance. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Cancer Research.
