Joan Patricia Mc Mahon
(née Murphy)

The death has occurred in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, England of Joan Patricia Mc Mahon (née Murphy), late of Ardee, County Louth Ireland. Joan was born on 19th April 1920 in Dublin and departed this life on 20th October 2023.

 

Our darling Mum, Joan was called to God on October 20th 2023 and died peacefully in the company of her children, Mary Toni, Alison and John. Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack; parents William and Mamie Murphy and brothers Billy and Jack.

 

She leaves a wonderful legacy to all of us, and our hearts are so raw. Forever with us in spirit and sadly missed by her daughters Mary, Toni, Alison and son John; sons-in-law, Paddy, Phil and John; daughter-in-law, Donna; grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the UK, USA and Serbia; extended family and friends.

A Requiem Mass and funeral in thanksgiving for the life and repose of the soul of Joan McMahon will be held on Tuesday, 7th November 2023, at 10:30am at The Sacred Heart Church in Ilkley, West Yorkshire and may be viewed on: https://topcelebrant.com/231107-joan-mcmahon/

 

A special Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady in Ardee, County Louth, Ireland on Tuesday, 7th November 2023, at 10am to celebrate Joan's long life.
