Joan Pierce
Joan Pierce (Ormond Square and late of Lisburn St, Dublin 7) passed away 6th November 2024 after a long illness in the care of the staff at St. Mary's Hospital, Phoenix Park. Predeceased by her sister Mary (Polly), brother Paddy and her nephew Joe Mooney.
She will be sadly missed by her nieces & nephews Joan & Eamon Kemple, Maura, Frank, Eamonn, Brian and Shay Mooney, niece-in-law Stephanie (Mooney) and their children, cousins, extended family, friends - with special thanks to her neighbour Jem Maguire, all her neighbours and friends from Ormond Square and the Macro Community Resource Centre, North King Street.
Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 from 4.30pm to 5.30pm Saturday afternoon (9th Nov). Joan’s Funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning (11th Nov) at 11.00am in St. Michan’s Church, Halston Street followed by a cremation service at The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross at approx. 12.15pm.
