Peacefully on 21st July 2024 surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of the nurses and staff at Knockeen Nursing Home, Barntown. Beloved wife of the late John, dearly loved mother of Elizabeth, Simon, John, Ellen and Myles, sister of Peter, Kevin and the late Pat, Jim, John, Frank, Mary, Margaret, Betty, Theresa and Annie. Joan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her family, sons in-law Eugene and Tony, daughter in-law Sineád, grandchildren Emma, Sarah, Roisín, Peter, John, Darcy, Ineke and Joseph, sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Hammel's Funeral Home, Kilmuckridge (Y25 C9T3) on Tuesday (23rd July) from 4pm, concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from her home on Wednesday at 10.45am to St Moling's Church, Monamolin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by interment in Monamolin Cemetery.
