Joan Whelan, nee O'Neill, late of 44 St. Mary's Terrace, Shinrone, Birr, Co. Offaly. Joan died peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the care of the staff of Ealga Lodge Nursing Home, Shinrone. Predeceased by her husband Denis and her parents Margaret and William O'Neill. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving children Martin, Denis, Michael, Margaret and Noel, her brother Denis O'Neill and his wife Rita, her daughters-in-law Sharon, Kathy and Linda, her son-in-law Roddy, her grandchildren DJ, Daniel, Kayleigh, Dylan, David, Hannah, Sénan, Matilda, Grace and Ruby, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing on Tuesday in Treacy's Funeral Home, Shinrone (R42E125), from 6pm until 8pm. Private removal on Wednesday to St. Mary's Church, Shinrone (R42WT26) for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in the New Cemetery Shinrone.
