DOONEY, Joe - (Cross, Edmondstown, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon). February 27th, 2024 - (Peacefully) in his 91st year in the tender loving care of his family along with the nurses and staff of Fearna Manor Nursing Home, Castlerea.

Predeceased by his daughter Ita and his granddaughter Teresa, he will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, his heartbroken wife Bertha, his children Padraig, Gerard, Dermot, Siobhan and Annie, his 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, his sister Lilly, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Joe will lie in repose in The Kilgarriff Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen, Thursday evening, from 5pm with removal at 7:30pm arriving to St. Aidan's Church, Monasteraden, at 8:30pm. Mass of the Resurrection Friday at 12 noon with Burial afterwards in Kilcolman Cemetery.
