The death has occurred of
Joe (Galway Joe) O'Flaherty
Formerly of Monivea Rd., Mervue, Galway.
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the loving care of all at Brookfield care centre. Pre deceased by his parents Larry and Bridie O'Flaherty, beloved husband of Breege (Nee Purcell) much loved father of Gary, Linda, Brian, and niece Michelle, brother of John ,Tony, Mary ,Della, Angela, Betty,Terry,Claire and Trudy, granddad of Eoin,Emma,Liam,Elliyah & Shane, father in law of Danny & the late Cathy.Joe will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, son -in -law, brothers, sisters brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Joe will repose at Cahill’s Funeral Home, Newtown Road, Cobh, (Eircode P24Y383) on Wednesday 8th November 2023 from 5pm with prayers at 6.30 pm. Removal from Cahill's funeral home at 10.30 am on Thursday 9th of November to St. Colman’s Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Old Church Cemetery
