Joe Higgins, Barrybeg, Athlone, and formerly of Riverstown, Co. Sligo.

Late of Higgins Bar, Pearse St., Athlone.

Peacefully, surrounded by his family in the tender care of the staff Roscommon Hospice. Predeceasesd by his parents James and Margaret, and his sisters Maureen and Breda. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rita, son Paul. daughter Karen, son in law Conor, daughter in law Jacqueline, grandchildren Oisín, Rachel, Ciarán and Eoin, brothers in law, sister in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday evening at the Strand Funeral Home (N37 WY17) from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Mass of the resurrection on Wednesday at 11am, in The Church of the Risen Christ, Ballybay, followed by burial in Kiltoom cemetery
