Joe (Joseph) Heffernan

The death has occurred of Joe (Joseph) Heffernan, Ballyboy Road, Kilcormac. Co. Offaly, August 14th 2023, peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rose, brothers, Peadar, Michael, Alo, John and sisters Mary, Brigid and sister-in-law Rose. Loving father to Anne, Josie, Pauline and John and adoring grandad to Niamh, Sharon, Oliver, Conor, Daniel, Lucy and Ellie. Beloved sister Nancy (Sister Agnes) and sister in law Hannah. Sadly missed by his sons-in-law George, Christy, Maurice and daughter-in-law Anne, sister-in-law Brigid, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and large circle of friends and staff and residence St Carthage’s Nursing Home, Mucklagh.

Reposing at his Home (R42 X290) Wednesday (16th) and Thursday (17th) from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Rosary both evenings at 8 o’clock.

Removal from his home on Friday morning to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Kilcormac, for 11 o’clock funeral mass followed by burial in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Kilcormac. Donations in lieu to patient comfort fund, St Carthage's Nursing Home, Mucklagh.
