Joe O'Riordan

O’Riordan, Broomfield East, Midleton formerly of Long Lane, Dublin Hill, Cork on May the 4th 2024 unexpectedly after a short illness surrounded by his loving family and in the kind and dedicated care of the staff at Cork University Hospital.

Joe, devoted husband and soulmate of Marie (Gillman), loving and adored dad of Ellen and Áine. Precious son of Séan and Lena (nee Moynihan), cherished brother of Mairead (Collier), Helena (Hennigan), Séan, Eimer and Pádraig.

Profoundly missed and forever loved by his heartbroken wife, daughters, parents, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, kind neighbours, relatives and friends. Deeply missed by his school and college friends, his work colleagues at ESBI Little Island and friends at Aghada Tennis Club.

Joe will repose in O’Farrell’s Funeral Home, Riverside Way, Midleton (P25X382) on Tuesday the 7th May from 5:30-7:30pm.

Reception into Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Midleton on Wednesday for 11am funeral mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The funeral mass will be live streamed on Midleton Parish
