Joe Spain
Joe Spain, Boveen, Brosna, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Kilmaine, Fortal, passed away on May 26th, 2023 (peacefully) at his home, surrounded by his loving family, in his 90th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Terry, daughter Mary (O’Brien, Cork), sons Eamonn and Joseph (Joe) son-in-law Finbar, daughters-in-law Siobhán and Karen, grandchildren; Michael, Eimear, Ruairī, Daniel, Isabel and Dara, extended family, relatives, all his neighbours and friends, especially Charlie and Shelly.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42 YF75) on Monday Evening from 5.30pm - 7.30pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Ita’s Church, Coolderry on Tuesday at 1.15pm for Funeral Mass at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in Ettagh Cemetery. House Strictly Private, please.
