Joe Welby

Joe died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of the late Bridie and much loved father of Kevin and Mary.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by his son and daughter, daughter-in-law Amanda, Mary's partner Mike, sisters Breege, Muiread and Sarah, his adored grandchildren Ciana, Stephanie, Avia, Evan and Sorcha and his seven great grandchildren. Joe will also be fondly remembered by Shinise and Niamh, his nieces and nephews, grandsons-in-law Eddie and Danny, the extended Welby and Moore family, neighbours and many friends.

 

Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on Sunday 30 June, 2024 from 4.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Removal from his home on Monday 01 July to the Sacred Heart Church, Seamus Quirke Road, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.

Following Mass he will be laid to rest with his wife in Rahoon cemetery. Family flowers only and house private please.
