The death has occurred of
John ( Johnny) Phelan
John (Johnny) Phelan, Knockanina, Mountrath, Co. Laois, Died 30th August 2022, (peacefully), aged 91 years, at St. Vincent’s Community Unit, Mountmellick, surrounded by his loving family and in the loving care of nurses and staff of St. Paul’s Ward. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen, daughter Ann and son Martin. Deeply regretted by his loving family John, Michael, Eddie, Kevin, Catherine, Noel, Fiona and Fintan, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers Eddie, Mick and Willie, sisters Bernie, Alo, Sheila and Lizzie, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath this Thursday evening from 7.0’clock with Rosary at 9.0’clock. Removal on Friday morning to St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery Mountrath.
Johnny’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on www.mountrathparish.ie
