John (Batty) Hester

John (Batty) Hester, (Rathfarnham and formerly of Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon and An Garda Síochána) – March 22nd, 2024 (peacefully) in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Tallaght University Hospital. Beloved husband of Margaret (née Cardiff), cherished father of Cathal, Neil and Ruairi and much-loved brother of Maureen, Edward (Eamon), Liam (Deceased), Frank, Pauline and Tony.

Sadly missed and remembered by all his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, Ruairi’s partner Megan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, colleagues, friends and Rugby Family.

May he Rest in Peace

John will repose at his home on Monday evening (Mar 25th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (Mar 26th) to Mount Argus Church arriving for 11:30am Mass, followed thereafter to Kilmashogue Cemetery.
