John Cunningham (Upper Whitethorn Drive, Caherdavin, Limerick, formerly of Shannon Airport Police and Fire Service and 12th Battalion Irish Army) 16th June 16th 2021, peacefully at home after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Mary. Dearly loved father of Elizabeth, Emily, Heather and the late Jennifer and Johnny. Predeceased by his brothers Joe, Mickey, Donal and sister Ann. Sadly missed by his loving brothers Tony, Eugene, Declan, Brian and Patrick, sisters Maura and Theresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

A private family Requiem Mass will be held in St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand this Friday (18th June) at 12 noon followed by burial in Mount St. Oliver cemetery.

In the interests of public health, attendance at the Requiem Mass will be restricted to accord with government guidelines and in line with social distancing protocols. Mass Cards and messages of sympathy can be sent to Thompson’s, Thomas Street, Limerick.
