John Dunne

John Dunne, (Ballycloven, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of St. Teresa’s Terrace, Kilkenny City) died peacefully on Tuesday, 9th May 2023, in the excellent care of the Oak and Cherry Wards, University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by his devoted and loving family.  Predeceased by his parents, Kathleen and Johnny, his beloved daughters Marie and Thérese, his sister Mary Dalessandro and brother-in-law Michael.  John will be forever missed by his loving wife Anne (nee Slattery) his sons Paul and Gavin.  Deeply regretted by his daughters-in-law Kirsty and Colleen, his adored grandchildren Luella, Jane, John, Ellie and Laura, his sisters Ann and Catherine, brothers Joe and Jimmy, his sister-in-law Ber, his brothers-in-law Pat, John and David, his nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends. 

MAY JOHN REST IN PEACE

Reposing at his home on Friday, 12th May 2023, from 5pm, concluding with rosary at 7pm.  Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (13th May) at 11am in St. Molua’s Church, Killaloe, Co. Kilkenny followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballykeeffe. 

Family flowers only please, donations, in lieu, to The Oak Ward, University Hospital Waterford.  Donation box in house and church.
