The death has occurred of John (Gerry) Gilligan Hazelwood, Parkroe, Craughwell/Cahercrin Craughwell and late of New York U.S.A. Predeceased by his wife Monica (Byrden) parents Jack and Mollie as well as infant siblings Mary and Martin. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the Galway Clinic, after a short illness bravely borne. He will be sadly missed by his loving son John (Gareth) New York, daughter-in-law Jeanne, brothers Paddy, Vinnie, Mikie,James and Eamon, sisters Carmel, Breege (Healy), Nuala (Conneely), Monica (Flaherty), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Cawleys Funeral Home Craughwell (H91 W2V3) on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral cortege will arrive to St. Colman's Church, Craughwell on Tuesday for Mass at 12 noon (Click here to view Funeral Mass)with burial afterwards in Ballymore Cemetery.
