John GREENE

Formerly of Summerhill, Co. Meath and Recess, Connemara. Peacefully, in his 86th year, in the safe hands of the staff in Our Lady's Hospital, Navan surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents John and Winnifred (nee Burke) and sisters Bridie Prior (London) and Maureen Scannell (Brooklyn, NYC). John will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Sheila, daughters Angela and Sebinah, son John, brother Paddy, granddaughters Shannon and Alicia, grandsons Aaron, John and Joseph, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family and friends.

May his gentle and kind soul rest in peace.

Removal from his residence on Tuesday at 11.30am to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Dangan, Summerhill arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
