John Hackett

Hackett, John, Ballsbridge, Dublin (formerly of Annavilla, Ranelagh, Dublin) – 29th April 2023 (peacefully) after a short illness in the wonderful care of St. Vincent’s Hospital and the Mater Hospital surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his wife Loretta and very recently by his sister Máire O’Mahony, Bantry.

Dearly beloved uncle of Orla, Caitriona and Aoife, sadly missed by nephews-in-law Jason and Michael, grand-nephews Matthew and Andrew, extended family and a wide circle of friends including those in Hibernian Insurance and St Mary’s Rugby Club.

Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home 5 Newtown Park, Newtownpark Ave, Blackrock, Co. Dublin from 5pm to 7pm Friday, May 5th. Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 6th, at 10am in Church of the Holy Name Beechwood Avenue Upper, Ranelagh followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Cemetery & Crematorium, Harold's Cross.
