John Heffernan

John Heffernan of Sycamore Drive and formerly Killadreenan, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow. July 20th 2024 peacefully with his wife by his side while in the compassionate care of the amazing staff at Wicklow Hospice, Magheramore. Predeceased by his father Paddy and sisters Caroline, Patricia and Mary, brothers Peter and Brendan. Remembered with love by his loving family, wife Josie (née O’Toole) for 46 years, children Marty, Lisa, John and Paul, their partners Gary, Erica and Ciara, mother Anne (née Kennedy), sister Elizabeth, brothers Patrick and Eamonn, grandchildren Sean, Adam, Cora, Finn, Lucy and Kai, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his home on Sunday and Monday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning July 23rd at 10.30am walking to St. Joseph’s Church, Newtownmountkennedy arriving for funeral Mass at 11am after which John will be laid to rest in Kilmurray Cemetery.
