John Herlihy

Herlihy, Mullins’ Cross, Garryvoe & formerly of Passage West, on May 24th, 2022, peacefully after a short illness bravely borne at Marymount Hospital & Hospice, Cork and previously in the care of Cork University Hospital, John, much loved husband of Eleanor (nee Mullins), loving dad of Rita (Law), Rose (Breen) and Helen (Stack), loving grandad of Hannah, Ben, Robbie, Mikey and Sophie, step-grandad of Matthew Law, much loved son of Bridie and the late Michael Herlihy

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, daughters, mother, sisters Mary Deasy and Geraldine Keating, sons in law Dave, Michael and Bryan, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, a wide circle of friends and former work colleagues at Spike Island and Cork Prison.

May John Rest In Peace

 John will repose at his home in Mullins' Cross, Garryvoe P25K138 on Sunday (29th) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  Reception into St. Mary's Church, Ladysbridge on Monday (30th) for    12 noon Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
