John (Jack) Hedigan
HEDIGAN (Clonakilty, Mitchelstown and late of Churchtown, Mallow): In his 105th year, on March 14th 2023 peacefully in the presence of his family, in the dedicated care of all the staff in Amberley Nursing Home, Fermoy. JOHN (JACK) (Ex. Munster & Leinster AIB), beloved husband of the late Maureen (née Hickey), much loved father of Norma (Booth), Miriam (Mulcahy), John, Gerardine (Walsh) and the late infant Carmel, father-in-law of the late Richard Booth. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Pat and Sean, grandchildren Shane, Ciara, Sheena, John, Elayne, Fiona and Shauna, great-grandchildren Ada, JJ, Chloe and Jack, nephews John, Conor, Michael, Dermot and Gerard, niece Norita, relatives, wonderful neighbours, wide circle of friends and his exceptional carers.
Reposing at his residence Carhoo, Clonakilty, P85 KD63 on Sunday, March 19th 2023, from 2.30pm followed by Vigil Prayers at 6pm. Reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty on Monday, March 20th 2023, at 11.20am followed by Requiem Mass at 11.30am. This will be livestreamed via www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live. Funeral afterwards in Drishane Cemetery, Millstreet.
