John (Jimmy) Ainscough 5 May 1958 - 13 September 2024

Ballinteer, Cumberland St (Pearse St) Jimmy Ainscough of St. Anne’s Court, Ballinteer.

Jimmy passed away on Friday, 13 September 2024 , aged 66, in the care of St. Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by his family.

He will be sadly missed by Pauline, daughters Kate and Sophie, Grandson Alfie and his grand-dog Cleo.

The family would like to thank all of the staff involved in his care in St. Vincent’s Hospital (in particular the staff of St. Joseph’s ward), the Mater Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital.

A private funeral was held in Mount Jerome Crematorium on Wednesday, 18 September 2024.

In his memory, donations are encouraged to the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dun Laoghaire Donate - NRH Foundation and the RNLI Lifeboats Donate to the RNLI and help save lives at sea
