John (Johnny) Burke

Loughree Park, Ballyleague, Roscommon / Brideswell, Roscommon

John (Johnny) Burke, Loughree Park, Ballyleague and formerly of Cam, Brideswell, Athlone, Co. Roscommon, Thursday, January 27th, 2022, peacefully, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family in the tender and loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Predeceased by his parents George and Winifred. John will be sadly missed by his partner Anne, Uncle Frank Watson (Dublin), cousins, neighbours and his many good friends.

 

May His Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

 

John will repose at St Brigid's Funeral Home, Brideswell (N37 EK88), on Sunday evening (January 30th) from 4.30 o'c until 6 o'c.(Walk through only). The funeral cortége will leave the Funeral Home on Monday morning (January 31st) at 10.30 o'c to arrive at St Brigid's Church, Curraghboy, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o'c. Burial afterwards in Cam Cemetery.

 

John's family are very conscious of the risks of Covid-19, therefore request those attending the funeral to please follow all guidelines in regard to sanitising, mask wearing and refrain from handshaking and hugging.
