John Kennedy

John Kennedy, formerly of Murroe, Co. Limerick, Shannon, Co. Clare and Culleens, Co.Sligo. Died peacefully on Friday 9th of February 2024, in the presence of his family, under the loving care of Rivervale Director of nursing, Angel Varghese and all her staff in Rivervale including carers, catering, maintenance, household, administration and residents families, who were like family to him to the end, saw to his every need and made sure he was in his home from home. Predeceased by his parents James and Elsie, sisters Rita, Breege, brother Bernie and sister-in-law Rose. Survived by Jacinta, Children; Evan, Brian, Miriam, Grace, Fintan and partners, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, his sister Marie, cousins and friends.

Reposing at Meehan's Funeral Home, Newport, Sunday 11th, from 6.00pm until 7:30pm. Arriving, Monday 12th, to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Newport, for 11.30am Requiem Mass, ​​followed by private cremation at Shannon Crematorium at 4.00pm. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to Rivervale Nursing Home, Nenagh.
