John McDermott

The death has occurred of John (Johnny) McDermott, Derryvode, Williamstown, Co. Galway. March 12th, 2021 in his 94th year. (Peacefully) surrounded by his loving family at University Hospital, Roscommon. Predeceased by his son Paddy. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Agnes, sons Seán, Michael and Stephen, daughters Marie and Helen, daughters-in-law Fran and Mary, son-in-law Grant, sisters Rita and Mary, his 10 grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In accordance with current HSE & Government guidelines, a private family funeral will take place for John. Those who would have liked to attend, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave a personal message in the 'Condolences'  section below.

Johnny's Funeral cortege will be leaving the home of his son Stephen and daughter-in-law Fran, on Monday March 15th at 11.30 a.m. for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon in St. Therese's Church, Williamstown. Burial afterwards in Carraroe Cementry. Family flowers only and house private please.
