John McGrath

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Friday 20th October 2023 of John McGrath, 13 Fr. Arnold Terrace, Manorcunningham F92 VW64. Deeply missed by his loving wife Patricia, sons John (Scotland), Michael and wife Theresa (Manorcunningham), Stephen and wife Marie (Buncranna), daughters Veronica Cullen and husband Paddy (Letterkenny), Annemarie Bildik and husband Sevki (Pluck), Trisha Desmet and husband Pascal (Raphoe), sisters Mary McNulty (Buncranna) and Margaret McLaughlin (Burnfoot), brothers Robert McGrath (Newtowncunningham) and Jim McGrath (Burt), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

John is predeceased by his parents Bridget and John, sister Madge McGrath, brothers Cathal and Eamonn, and granddaughter Maríosa Cullen.

John’s remains will be reposing at his late residence. House strictly private please due to family health concerns.

Funeral leaving his late residence on Sunday 22nd October 2023 at 12.15pm going to St. Aengus’ Church, Burt for Requiem Mass at 1pm. Interment afterwards in Burt Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Oncology Ward, Letterkenny University Hospital, c/o any family member.
