McKENNEDY (KENNEDY) (Knockea, Lyre, Clonakilty): on March 18th 2024 peacefully, in his 85th year, surrounded by his loving family at his home and in the wonderful care of the West Cork Palliative Care team. JOHN beloved husband of Eileen (nee Dineen) and the late Breda (nee Lordan), dearly loved dad of Pat, Mairead (O’Mahony), Richard, Mary (O’Sullivan), Janet, Catherine and John Murphy, Michelle and Michael, dear brother of Eleanor (Noonan), brother-in-law of Michael, uncle of the late Ann Noonan-Roeckl. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, grandchildren Cian, Kayleigh, Aoife, Cillian, Aisling, Shane, Eoin, Alan, Conor, Mark, Ronan, Jack and Teddy, sons-in-law Jerome, Sean, Jonny and Finbarr, daughters-in-law Breda, Gráinne and Anna, godchild Eamon Freeman, nephew Michael Noonan, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Rosary in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Tuesday, March 19th 2024, at 7pm. Reposing in the Funeral Home, on Wednesday, March 20th 2024, from 5.30pm to 8pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty on Thursday, March 21st 2024, at 2pm. This will be livestreamed via www.clonakiltyparish.ie/live. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
