The death has occurred of
John Mooney
Mooney, (Balally, Sandyford and formerly of Ringsend) – December 27th, 2021 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Belmont Nursing Home, Stillorgan, John (late of IGB, Ringsend), beloved husband of Maureen and much-loved father of Maighréad, Adam, Ciarán and Clare. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law John, Liam and Tommy, sisters-in-law Carol and Joan, sons-in-law Silvio and Stefano, daughters-in-law Ute and Alison, nephews, nieces, grandchildren Amy, Kelly, Chloe, Jennifer, Jessica, Max, Bobby, Lolarose, Meagan and Cian, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Friday morning (December 31st) to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village arriving for 11am Mass, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park. Live streaming of the Funeral Mass can be viewed by clicking on the following link:
The Funeral cortège is expected to leave JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village at 10:40am on Friday morning and will proceed at a walking pace to St. Mary’s Church. After Mass, the cortège will pass John’s late residence in Balally at 12:20pm, those wishing to line the route are welcome to do so, while observing all guidelines relating to social distancing and the wearing of face masks.
