MURPHY (Cross Douglas Road, Cork & Macroom, Co. Cork): On December 8th, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Lukes Home, JOHN (former CEO of the Mercy University Hospital), devoted husband of Helen (née Delaney) and loving and adored dad to Susan, Jane and Deborah, cherished grandad to Darragh, Adam, Joey, Sadie and Jamie and dear brother of Mary and William.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Colin, Brian and Colin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Tuesday (December 10th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 2.00pm on Wednesday (December 11th) in the Church of Christ the King, Turners Cross which can be viewed

Funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea.
