John passed peacefully from this life on 13th of May, surrounded by the love of his family and in the care of the staff of the Galway Hospice.

Predeceased by his parents John and Delia and his infant son, John.

John will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Eileen, his children David, Marie and Mark, his son-in-laws, Ruaraidh and Tony and David's partner Brenda, and his grandchildren Stuart, Matthew and Muireann.

John will be fondly remembered by his brothers Gerard, Joseph, Tommy, Paul, Tony and Padraig, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his nieces and nephews, members of the extended family, his neighbours, friends and his colleagues from his long service with An Garda Siochána.

John will repose in Dignity Funeral Care funeral home, Barrack Street, Loughrea (H62 DV76) on Tuesday, 14th of May, from 5.30pm to 7pm.

Funeral cortege will arrive at St Brendan’s Cathedral, Loughrea at 12.15pm on Wednesday, 15h May, for Requiem Mass for John at 12.30pm, followed by funeral service in Shannon Crematorium at 3pm.
