The death has occurred of
John (Sean) Leyden
On 17th March 2020, peacefully aged 94 at Ennis Hospital after a short illness.
John was the brother of Teresa Scanlon and the late Mary and Bridie. Uncle of Liam and loved by all; he will be sadly missed by his family, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful nursing team of Burren Ward, Ennis Hospital for their dedication and best nursing care given in this unique and challenging time.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.

In light of the current concerns around Covid-19 and the wellbeing of John’s family, friends and neighbours, John’s funeral arrangements will be private for family and close friends only. We will, however, arrive at Laghtagoona Cemetery on Thursday at approximately 12 midday; where in an effort to follow best practice in line with the HSE guidelines for Covid-19 and with the support and agreement of John’s family we encourage no handshaking or the use of a condolence book. We suggest using the online condolence page below to offer your sympathies.
