The death has occurred of
John (Seán) McCARTHY
McCARTHY John (Seán) (Late of Poppintree, Ballymun, Dublin 11 and former member of Shangan Celtic FC) February 11th 2025. Passed peacefully after a long illness in the loving care of his family and the staff of the Mater Hospital. Beloved husband of Margaret, loving father of John, Julie and Lisa and beloved grandfather of the late Krystal and Seán. Sadly missed by his family, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, the Ballymun Civic Centre, Ballymun Road, D09 C8P5, on Sunday evening, February 16th, from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning, February 17th, at 10am at St Joseph’s Church, Dane Road, followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium at 11.50am approximately.
