The death has occurred of John (Sean) Mitchell, Ilford, Essex and formerly of Knockroe, Attymon, Athenry, Galway on 9th May 2024, peacefully at King Georges Hospital, Goodmayes, Essex. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary Ellen, brothers Eamon, Mickey, Larry and Brendan.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken family, wife Florence, children Sharon, John, Lorraine and Josie, daughter in law Coral, son in law Brett and grandsons Edward, Henry, Jack, Billy and Harry. Sadly missed by his brothers Paddy (Athenry), Gerard (Aughrim), sisters Mai (Sr. Teresita) and Ann (Farrell), brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Wednesday 29th May: Reposing at AG Butler & Son's (Funeral Directors), 760 Green Lane, Dagenham, RM8 1YT from 2 pm to 4 pm. Sean will be reposing at the family home from 5 pm. House private please, family only.

Thursday 30th May: Funeral mass for Sean will take place at 12 noon at St Peter & Pauls, 342 High Road, Ilford, IG1 1QP. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, Hainault, Ilford, IG6 3HP.

Family flowers only please. At the request of the Mitchell family donations can be made to Dementia UK or the British Heart Foundation in memory of Sean Mitchell.
