Murphy (Gortmore, Banteer and formerly of Kilcrea, Ovens)

On May 3rd 2024 peacefully surrounded by his family at Cork University Hospital John (Tosh), father of Elga, Deirdre, Daniel, John and Claire, grandfather of Sophie and Conor, brother of Marion (Fitton), Tricia (Kenneally) and Christy. Son of the late Dan and Catherine Murphy, Kilcrea.

Sadly missed by his family, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his sister Tricia Kenneally’s Home Curraheen Village (T12 KX3V) Sunday 5th from 5.00pm with prayers at 7.00pm Requiem Mass at 11.00am Monday (6th) in St John the Baptist Church Ovens which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/ovens Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.
