The death has occurred of
John Walsh
WALSH, Bere Island & Mayfield, Co.Cork on June 23rd 2024, peacefully at Cork University Hospital in the presence of his adoring family, JOHN. Dearly loved by his wife Sheila, Son Adam, Daughters Laura & Aoife, brother Laurence, sister’s Angela O’Leary & Caroline O’Sullivan, Sister’s in Law Mary O’Shea, Norma O’Neill Collins, Brothers in Law Barry O’Leary, Paul O’Sullivan, Gerard O’Neill, Aunty Anne, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and wonderful friends.
Reposing in Harrington’s Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Tuesday (25th June) from 4pm to 7pm followed by the rosary and removal to St.Michael’s Church, Bere Island. Requiem mass will take place at 12 midday on Wednesday (26th June) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Harrington’s ferry will leave the slipway in Castletownbere on Wednesday (26th) at 11am and 11.30am, Murphy’s ferry will leave the pontoon at 10.30am, 11am and 11.30am for Traguala.
