John Winder

We are really sorry to let you know that John Winder passed away aged 99 after a very short illness on December 30th 2020. He is very sadly missed by his wife Cherry, and children Mark, Paul, Rachel and Jane and grandchildren Johanna, Jasper, Amelia, Finlay and Freya.

In these difficult times, John will be laid to rest in a private and, unfortunately, very restricted ceremony. We will try and organize a bigger gathering and celebration of life later in the year.

If you wish, please support one of John's favourite charities (Water Aid) via the Just Giving website below, perhaps instead of sending flowers (as an engineer involved in water supply, he was passionate about improving people's lives through provision of clean water in many parts of the world).
