John (Yorkie) Murphy
MURPHY (Glanmire, Co. Cork): On March 23rd, 2023, peacefully, at the Bon Secours Hospital JOHN (Yorkie), Springmount, Glanmire (late of O’Connell Transport), dearly loved husband of Dympna (née Power), and much loved father of Julie, Mairéad, Joseph, Seán and Ailish and loving brother of Lil and the late Bridie and dear grandfather of Ian, Ciara, Conor, Ríona, Kate, Ciara, Grace, Emily, Fionn, Jack, Saoirse, Seán Óg, Ríain and the late Megan Rose.
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sister, sons-in-law Ger and Paul, daughters-in-law Cathy, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends especially Dick.
Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Sunday (March 26th) from 1.00pm to 2.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 3.00pm on Monday (March 27th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Springhill, Glanmire which can be viewed
Funeral afterwards to Ballinaltig Cemetery.
